PRACTICE & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Laëtitia ETCHEPARE has a strong expertise in neurobiology, and also in chemistry et medical devices thanks to a multi-disciplined education(Neurosciences, Neuropsychopharmacology). She joined ICOSA in 2019 as a Patent Associate. She is part of the Biotech-Biology team and is involved in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.

PhD in Biology, Laëtitia conducted her research at the Interdisciplined Institute of Neurosciences in Bordeaux, under the direction ofPr. Laurent Groc. Her thesis’ project focused « Role of glutamate NMDA receptor surface trafficking in the firing pattern of midbrain dopaminergic neurons ». In particular, she has implemented in vitro approaches (neural cell culture, high-resolution imagery of neural cells, electrophysiology on brain slices, immunohistochemistry), and in vivo approaches (rodent surgery – stereotaxic procedures).

  • CEIPI (Centre d’Etudes Internationales de la Propriété Intellectuelle) diploma, with Patent degree
  • PhD in Biology, with Neurosciences degree (Institut Interdisciplinaire de Neurosciences – Bordeaux)
  • MSc in Neurosciences and Neuropsychopharmacology (Université de Bordeaux)
