Sophie holds a four-year experience in the filing and prosecution of patent applications in the field of software, telecommunications, cryptography, physics, optics and image processing.
Previously an optical engineer in the lighting industry, she also worked for five years as a patent analyst in an international company specialized in the multimedia industry.

- CEIPI (Centre d’Etudes Internationales de la Propriété Intellectuelle) diploma, with Patent, Trademark and Design degree
- Engineer’s Degree from the Institut d’Optique Paris Tech
- Master of Science in Optics from the University of Rochester
