Ophelie Rouxel holds a PhD in Immunology from Paris Descartes University in Paris. She joined ICOSA in 2018, as a patent engineer in the Life Sciences-Biotech team. She is involved in the drafting of patents and the monitoring of procedures until the issuance of Industrial Property rights.
Ophelie Rouxel wrote her doctoral thesis on the theme “Roles of MAIT cells in the pathophysiology of type 1 diabetes” under the supervision of Dr. A. Lehuen at the Cochin Institute. She then pursued this study as part of a postdoctoral research project and presented her work at international conferences such as the 22nd EASD-HAGEDORN Workshop in Oxford, United Kingdom.
