Julien Compagnon has solid expertise in Biotechnology, Genetics, Cell Biology and Molecular Biology. He joined ICOSA in 2018 as a patent engineer in the Biotech-Biology team, and is involved in patent drafting, the monitoring of issuance and litigation procedures and the drafting of consultations.
Doctor in Genetics, he studied the genetic regulation and the cellular mechanisms underlying the establishment of the embryonic axes, within the group polarity and morphogenesis at the Jacques Monod Institute under the supervision of Dr. Antoine Guichet. He then continued this research as part of a postdoctoral research project at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (Dresden) and at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (Vienna) in Pr. Carl-Philipp Heisenberg’s laboratory.
