Laurence Rivière is a Trade Marks and European Attorney (CPI), with a focus on Trademarks and Designs. She joined ICOSA in 2020 as Head of the Trademarks, Designs and Contracts department.
Laurence Rivière began her career as a lawyer in a Parisian law firm specialized in intellectual property and digital law. She then joined several European-scale industrial property law firms as an IP Attorney where she was in charge of large portfolios for French and international companies present worldwide, in various business fields.
She assists French and international companies, including start-ups in their strategy to protect, add value to and defend IP rights (protectability study, availability searches, filing trademarks and design applications, registering domain names, portfolio audit and evaluation, contracts, litigation). She has also acquired expertise in domain names and cybercrimes (online counterfeiting and e-reputation).
